Presidential Election 08′!
23 01 2008Ok. So my tech teacher, Ms. Dame, is making my class do a blog about our favorite president candidates, so here I go!!!
My Favorite Candidate: OBAMA!!! (Barack Obama)

His Slogan:
“I’m asking you to believe. Not just in my ability to bring about change in washington… I’m asking you to believe in yours.”
These two things show that Obama wants to be a different president in the way that he wants to to give the people the freedom to run their country the way they want. The logo and slogan show this, along with great looking detail, futuristic design, and liberty for all.

I Think that Obama is trying above all to appeal to every person of every race and background. This means that he is reaching out to those who are usually left out or treated unfair such as Hispanics and African Americans. These are five things that he wants to do:
=> Obama promotes clean energy and fuel. He wants o change the law about the limits of pollution and help stop global warming.
=> He also wants to help families pay for health care. He says that everyone should have the right, and everyone should get it.
=> Technology is another change of his. He wants to start shaping government and education around technology, and become advanced in it.
=> He wants to give all student, regardless of race or background, high quality education to tackle everything in life.
=> Obama thinks that we need to fund in the technology to keep our country and its citizens safe, an never let a terrorist attack happen again.

Obama’s Ads:
This effective add is pointed towards everyone and is good to me for this reason. It is clear, cool looking, and shows that warm smile that everyone likes. The way it is so close to his face makes you feel like you can trust him and you are in a face to face conversation. I have to say though, that this add is very plain and does not really show anything besides his face. However, even just the face and the text and logo are saying a good message to it’s audiences, by looking cool and friendly.
This is an ad not only for Obama, but for a concert called live earth. It shows how Obama is a full supporter of the climate and earth, plus he supports musical arts. This shows that Obama will change our ways to more environmentally friendly ways during his time in office, and it also shows that like most Americans, he is cool in the way that he supports music, concerts, rock, and the young people in our country. Specifically, this ad is pointed towards people around the world who live in urban areas and attend concerts regularly, and those who have a liking for the environment as well as music. This ad is neatly organized and cool looking, so it shows effectiveness in the ways I mentioned above.
This next ad is rather bland and plain which is bad, and says to vote for Obama. The ad is effective in the way that it gets the message through and is easy to read, and it shows a nice picture of Barack with the beautiful American flag in the background. This specifically gives it the feel that he is soon to be president and is the right man for the job, giving you his trust and dependence. The only really “cool” thing about it is the Obama’s head layered on top of some letters, and beside that, this ad has nothing cool, unique, of especially effective.
